Q&A: Cardiotoxicity among cancer patients
April 16, 2025Cardiotoxicity is heart damage that can come from certain cancer treatments, either during treatment or years after it. This includes cardiomyopathy, which makes it more difficult for the heart to pump blood, as well as heart failure, coronary artery disease, and irregular heartbeats.
