As CFO of Evolent’s Performance Suite, John Way oversees the financial aspects of Evolent’s full-risk partnerships.

John brings significant executive and financial leadership experience to this role. Prior to joining Evolent in 2025, John served as a public company CFO at Protolabs for seven years and has deep subject matter expertise in value-based care from many aspects of the health care system including payer, provider, and specialty care management including CFO roles at OptumHealth and OptumCare. John began his career in public accounting, working six years in the Audit practice at PWC.

John holds a B.A. in Business Administration / Accounting from the University of St. Thomas.
