Evolent Chief Strategy and Growth Officer John Tam brings more than 25 years of experience in health care growth and investment strategy, new product development, and marketing.

Prior to Evolent, John was a principal with Accretive LLC, a private equity firm, where he led investments in the care management and insurance sectors. John also served as a vice president and senior medical director for a health care marketing agency, a director in new product development at The Advisory Board Company, and a principal with Computer Sciences Corporation (formerly APM, Inc.) where he led numerous payer and provider strategy, operations and IT engagements. John earned his M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and his B.A. from Williams College.
